Music Ed "Survival" Meetingsurvival

MENC is sponsoring an informational meeting for the Music Education department Thursday, Spetember 14. 7:00 pm MU 113 ALL MUSIC EDUCATION MAJORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

All students in attendance will recieve a newly updated Music Education handbook detailing all the requirements for a Bachelor of Music in Education. Dates, dealines, and procedure for submitting all applications (MEPS, TEP, PRAXIS Testing, Student Teaching, and MENC Collegiate) will also be discussed.

Guests for tonights meeting are Chris Sakowski, a music ed student currently undergoing clinical student teaching; Dr. Shannon Chase, visiting choral techniques professor from the University of Oregon; and Mr. Jim Holcomb, music and dance supervisor for Memphis City Schools.

Music Educators' Workshop Seriesworkshop

A series of intense series of workshops focused on helping you to become more effective music educators.

West Tennessee Fair Dayfair

The collegiates of West Tennessee are getting together for a gathering at the Mid-South Fair Sunday, September 24. We would like everyone that plans to attend to RSVP at musiced@music.memphis.edu. Admission is $5. More information to follow via your VP.
